Best In The Desert (BITD) is continuing their push on bringing more awareness to their already popular racing sanction. The newest push comes in heavy with a brand new website loaded with features and information for fans and racers alike. The new website is designed to showcase the racing series and step up the game when it comes to user experience.
The new site is said to have built in the spirit of BITD’s founder, Casey Folks. Through the pages you’ll find a wonderful page dedicated to Casey and his life. His passing in January 2017 was a heart wrenching ordeal for many. Casey was a life-long enthusiast of the off-road world and had built a life around it. In 1984, Casey started BITD as a motorcycle racing association. Over the years, the racing sanction grew to the powerhouse it is today. Casey was part of that every step of the way.
The dedicated page explains it well, “Casey Folks wore many hats throughout his five-decade career in the sport—including competitor, promoter, land-use advocate, businessman, ambassador, friend, and father.” The website also features an interactive timeline covering the History of BITD and Casey’s journey with it.

BITD’s website now has a History page with an interactive timeline where you can see major milestones through the life of the racing sanction.
A big upgrade also included in the website is live GPS tracking during events. The technological advancements in GPS technology is now even more useful for spectators, teams and officials. The tracking system offers live leaderboard updates and real-time location updates on racers. All of which is mobile accessible, too.

Live GPS Tracking is the best way to know exactly where you team is, whether you are in the pits or at home.
