Jeep is doubling down on its mission-driven “Convoy” campaign with the debut of the 2026 Jeep Gladiator Whitecap, a heritage-inspired special edition that blends old-school attitude with modern-day trail dominance. As the second mission in the Gladiator Convoy campaign—following the stealth-focused Shadow Ops—Whitecap shifts gears with a bold, two-tone design that taps directly into Jeep’s eight-decade legacy of off-road leadership.

The 2026 Jeep Gladiator Whitecap, the latest mission in the brand’s “Convoy” campaign, features a striking heritage‑inspired two‑tone look with a Bright White roof, grille and 1941 graphics.

A Nod To 1941, Built For 2026

The Whitecap package is a clear visual callback to Jeep’s roots. Inspired by the earliest Jeep vehicles, it delivers a timeless two-tone execution that feels just as at home crawling over rocks as it does rolling through town. This isn’t retro for the sake of nostalgia—it’s a deliberate tribute to where the brand started, reimagined for today’s off-roaders who demand authenticity and real capability.

“As the second mission in our Convoy campaign, the Jeep Gladiator Whitecap acknowledges where we’ve been,” said Bob Broderdorf, Jeep CEO. “It offers a clear nod to Jeep heritage, rooted in 1941, and built for today’s adventurers who value authenticity, individuality and real capability. We continue to listen to our customers, and their feedback is guiding us toward offering more colors, more customization and more flexibility across the lineup.”

That feedback-driven approach shows up clearly in Whitecap’s distinctive styling. The exterior leans heavily into Bright White accents, including a painted roof, the iconic seven-slot grille, and a 1941 side-stripe decal that ties it directly to Jeep’s origin story. On Rubicon, Rubicon X, Mojave and Mojave X trims, a Bright White hood decal drives the heritage theme home even further.

Capability Still Comes Standard

While the Whitecap package turns heads, the core of the Gladiator remains untouched—and that’s exactly what enthusiasts want. This is still the only open-air pickup in the industry with a removable roof and doors, a feature unique to the Jeep brand. It still delivers an unsurpassed 7,700-pound towing capacity and a maximum payload of 1,720 pounds, making it just as capable hauling toys as it is tackling tough terrain.

The five-foot steel bed with integrated tie-downs and an easy-lift tailgate keeps things functional, while available lockable and removable rear-seat storage bins add interior flexibility for tools, recovery gear or weekend adventure essentials.

Built For Your Kind Of Off-Road

One of the biggest advantages of the Whitecap package is that it isn’t limited to a single trim. It’s available on Gladiator Sahara, Rubicon, Rubicon X, Mojave and Mojave X, giving buyers the freedom to choose the capability level that matches their lifestyle. Whether that means daily-driving refinement, extreme rock-crawling confidence or high-speed desert performance, Whitecap can be spec’d to suit.

Affordable Heritage

The 2026 Jeep Gladiator Whitecap arrives at dealerships nationwide later this spring with a starting MSRP of just $495. That pricing applies to Sahara, Rubicon X and Mojave X models, as well as Rubicon and Mojave when equipped with body-color fender flares and the body-color Freedom Top.

For less than five hundred bucks, Jeep fans can add a serious dose of heritage style to one of the most capable midsize trucks on the market—proof that sometimes the best way forward is to look back to 1941.
