SEMA 2024: Cool New Products Revealed From Westin And Superwinch

The Westin-Superwinch booth at the 2024 SEMA Show was a busy place. One reason is the cool new products that each company brought to the show. Among other things, Westin brought new running boards for select GM trucks, and Superwinch displayed a brand-new winch along with a new finish for one of its most popular winches.

Superwinch Scorpion Series Compact 10,000-Pound-Capacity Winch

Front and center for Superwinch was the new Scorpion 10, a 10,000-pound-capacity winch. The compact unit measures 16.50 x 6.81 x 6.75 inches and weighs only 50 pounds. The company says this is 20-25 pounds less than a comparable winch. Superwinch notes that the unit’s “progressive design” is a good fit for modern vehicles. Additionally, it has a two-speed gearbox, an internal control box, and a 1.8-horsepower permanent magnet motor. Furthermore, it comes with wired and wireless controllers, synthetic rope with integrated soft shackle, and a patented drum light to assist when winching in the dark. Finally, it has full circle clocking in 90-degree increments to accommodate most mounting situations. A 6,000-pound-capacity Scorpion Series winch is also available.

A New Finish Debuts For The Superwinch SX12SR Winch

Pictured here is the Superwinch SX12SR winch, bolted to Westin’s XTS front bumper. This bumper has applications for the new Ford Bronco and late-model Jeep Wranglers. The winch’s feature of note is the Midnight Black finish, which is new. It complements the 12,000-pound-capacity winch that has a six-horsepower sealed motor, three-stage planetary gearing, and 80 feet of synthetic rope. Also standard is a hawse fairlead, as well as a wireless handheld remote and a 12-foot-long handheld wired remote.

Westin AT6 Running Boards

Westin’s new AT6 Running Boards are designed for 2020-2025 Chevy Silverado, 2500HD, and GMC Sierra 2500HD Crew Cab pickups. Each has a five-inch-wide step area with indented step pads that offer secure footing. The AT6s have lightweight construction while offering strength and durability. Two versions are available. One is extruded aluminum with a black powdercoat finish, and the other is polished stainless steel. Both have smooth, seamless, rounded end caps and covers that hide the mounting bracketry to provide a clean look.

Tesla Cybertruck Pro-Series Bumpers

Westin also displayed a Tesla Cybertruck with its Pro-Series bumpers. The front bumper is a winch-capable upgrade from the factory bumper and is made from 10-gauge steel. It has a heavy-duty winch-mount center section that can accommodate most winches ranging from 8,000- to 12,000-pound capacity. The winch is also designed to accept most single-row, 20-inch LED lightbars. The Pro-Series Front Bumper has provisions for the factory sensors and a recessed hawse fairlead for the synthetic rope. The bumper has an e-coated base coat and is available in a textured black finish.

Out back, the Pro-Series Tesla Cybertruck Rear Bumper is a one-piece, bolt-on design that is said to increase ground clearance and departure angle. It’s constructed of 10-gauge steel, and accommodates the factory receiver hitch and LED backup lights. It’s also designed to accept a pair of FM6 LED flush-mount lights. Like the front Pro-Series bumper, it has an E-coated base coat and is available in a textured black finish.
