Addictive Desert Designs (ADD) teamed up with Complete Customs to unveil a Jeep to honor American legend and military hero, Chris Kyle. It will be auctioned off in 2016 with proceeds  benefitting the Chris Kyle The Frog Foundation, which supports troops that return from deployment by giving a retreat to reconnect and enrich their lives with their immediate family.

“Chris Kyle is an American legend, that is all you can say,” said Shaun Freilich, owner of Complete Customs. “Everyone knows the story, but we quickly got deeper into the history when a customer of ours – who is from Chris’ home town of Odessa, Texas spoke to us about commissioning a vehicle. The idea was to use the vehicle to raise awareness for the work Chris Kyle’s Frog Foundation does with our military and first responders.”

The Jeep, nicknamed The Legend, has plenty of accessories from ADD and others. Some of the ADD products include:

The Jeep is running a Rock Krawler 5.5-inch Trail Gunner suspension with MetalCloak overline front fenders, and ExoSkin with six-inch quick release dovetail rear fenders. Help powering this Jeep is a Manuson Supercharger. Completing the stance, The Legend is sitting on custom XD wheels wrapped in Interco 40-inch Super Swamper M16 tires.

The  exterior of the Jeep is very unique, with a Kryptek Kevlar exterior coating in a camo color that really ties the entire theme of the build together. Chris’s wife, Taya, was at the ADD booth during the show explaining the build and the foundation to attendees.

“For any projects we have done in Chris’ honor, or around the Foundation, we partnered with organizations that share our vision and deal in faith, honor and respect,” said Taya. “We have to be on the same page and remember our aim. Chris’ goal was never to become a celebrity — he wanted to use his personal experiences to make a difference in the lives of others.

“All of the projects that we’re doing have that goal in mind – and it is about the quality of what we’re doing as well — not just putting a logo on something, … it has to have a meaning and help the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation assist veteran and first responder families re-connect through unique experiences,” Taya continued.

The Chris Kyle Jeep is available for purchase through select Jeep dealers in the U.S., or direct through Complete Customs. The fully-optioned version comes complete with gun rails, firearms, and limited edition Bowtech Chris Kyle The Legend Bow.

Many of the companies that teamed up for this build, and for all their future Chris Kyle products, also support the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation. This is not just a build where companies come together to build an amazing vehicle for SEMA, this build has stronger roots that run deep and true, like Kyle himself.
