SEMA 2016: Jamar Performance Toughens Your Vehicle For The Dirt

Preparing for the inevitable is something that needs to be on the top of every off-roaders list when building a vehicle. Never knowing what may happen on a trip to the desert or on the second lap of a race could wreak havoc on a successful day.

Jamar Performance offers hubs, calipers, and pedal assemblies for off-road vehicles of all sorts. They are made to specifications and modified to fit applications where the abuse from the rigors of hard running dirt, sand and torque all play important factors in damaging stock components.

“A lot of our products are built for Baja,” Don Gehnert of Jamar Performance said. “We focus on the high extreme racing that gets abused during the course of the race. We started with sand buggies, which are more forgiving, before we got into desert racing.”

Off-road is an ever growing and changing sport. New products and designs seem to come out every year. “We are constantly having to change, ” Gehnert explained. “From coatings to materials and even applications, we are always adjusting to where the market is going.”
