This savage-looking 2025 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro is an attention grabber, and it backs up its in-your-face appearance with capability to match. Beneath the aggressive styling is a collection of upgrades you might not expect, including engine modifications that deliver far more power than stock, suspension enhancements, and a set of portal axles that take its off-road performance to another level.

From Stocker To Rocker

In stock form, the 2025 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro is already a highly capable off-roader. It comes equipped with a TRD off-road suspension featuring a 1.1-inch front lift, Fox internal bypass front coilovers, Fox rear remote-reservoir shocks, 33-inch tires, forged aluminum wheels, a TRD aluminum front skidplate, an electronically controlled locking rear differential, and Xply Armor engine, fuel tank, and transfer case undercovers.

For most owners, that’s more than enough. But the crew at Forged 4×4 thought otherwise. They teamed up with Complete Customs in McKinney, Texas, to push the truck’s capability and appearance far beyond factory specs. As if that weren’t enough, this Tundra has another surprise that we’ll reveal at the end of the story.

Engine Upgrades Increase Horsepower And Torque

Under the hood is Toyota’s 3.4-liter twin-turbo V6 i-Force Max, which produces 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque in stock form. That’s impressive on its own, but a Magnuson Performance Pack 6 cranks things up another notch. The package includes the company’s cat-back exhaust, cold air intake, low-temperature radiator, charge air cooler, and performance tune. According to Magnuson, the upgrades add 85 horsepower and 85 pound-feet of torque, pushing output to a stout 522 horsepower and 668 pound-feet of torque.

Power is sent through the factory 10-speed automatic transmission and two-speed transfer case.

Improved Suspension

The Tundra’s suspension was on the upgrade list too. Up front, a pair of King 2.5 remote-reservoir coilovers replaced the factory units. They offer adjustable ride height and are designed to increase wheel travel over stock. Out back, the TRD Pro coil springs remain, but the factory shocks gave way to King 2.5 remote-reservoir shocks. According to King, the upgrade delivers a 20 percent increase in wheel travel.

The upper control arms were also replaced with Built Right Fabrication units featuring 1-inch FK uniballs, which provide greater articulation than the factory ball joints

Portal Axles

The Tundra’s biggest surprise sits behind each wheel. It’s equipped with a set of 74Weld billet aluminum four-gear portal axles that deliver a 22 percent gear reduction at the hub. Beyond the added ride height and ground clearance, the portals allow the truck to run larger diameter tires without the need to regear the axles. The kit also includes new brake rotors, 4340 heat-treated axle shafts, and full synthetic oil.

The portals help create room for a set of meaty 37×12.50R17LT Yokohama Geolandar X-AT tires wrapped around Black Rhino Vanguard wheels.

Exterior Mods Galore

The Tundra’s exterior received just as much attention as its chassis. Upgrades include 3-inch bulge FiberwerX fiberglass front fenders and rear bedsides, a Seibon Carbon TS-style carbon fiber hood, and AlphaRex USA Nova-Series LED projector headlights in Alpha Black. It also sports Addictive Desert Designs Stealth Fighter front and rear bumpers, and the body is wrapped in a all-business SD Design House-applied Satin Black Inozetek Dynamic PPF finish.

When the sun goes down, Baja Designs lighting ensure the trail can be illuminated. The setup includes a roof-mounted 9XL light bar, LP4 ditch lights, a bumper-mounted ONX6 ARC light bar, and Squadron Sport backup/chase lights and fog lights. Everything is managed through a 4×4 sPOD BantamX controller.

They’re Giving The Truck Away

The end result is a Tundra with a stunning appearance and the performance and capability to back it up.

Here’s the final surprise: The truck will be given away. Yeah, you read that right. For more information, visit forged4x4.com. The Tundra will appear on the site beginning July 10, 2026, following the current Mercedes-Benz Sprinter giveaway, and continue until October 25, 2026.
