PRI 2021: Make Some Noise With MBRP’s Armor Pro Exhaust System

Over the years, factory exhaust systems have gotten really quiet. And if you’ve driven a new-model GM vehicle recently, you can certainly relate to what we’re talking about. With the engine running, you can barely hear the tone from the exhaust. Even at wide-open throttle, new trucks are still very modest, which is probably suitable for 90-percent of the owners out there. But, if you’re that 10-percent that likes an angry-sounding truck as we do, MBRP released a new exhaust system at the 2021 PRI show this year that’s perfect for you.

Armor Pro Features:

MBRP’s Armor Pro exhaust system was designed specifically for the new 2019 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra with a 4.3-, 5.3-, and 6.2-liter engine. This exhaust system is a true 3-inch cat-back design that exits in front of the passenger’s side rear tire. The aggressive race profile sound will make sure that you’re heard on the streets and you won’t need to worry about the exhaust drone inside the interior like other performance exhaust. When designing the Armor Pro system, MBRP needed a smaller muffler for the truck to get the pipes out in front of the rear tire.  So they installed a Helmholz resonator to cut down the drone inside the cabin, keeping the system pleasant even when cruising down the highway.

The Armor Pro exhaust system is available in both T-304 stainless steel and aluminized steel and comes with T-304 stainless steel mirror-polished tips for a classic look. In addition, MBRP includes all of the hardware needed for installation and backs this product with a lifetime warranty.
