710 HP 2021 Yenko Supercharged Silverado Off-Road is A Beast

The demand for performance pickup trucks is at an all-time high, and the success of Ram TRX is a testament to the enticing appeal of these offerings. The popularity of TRX even compelled Ford to announce a V8-powered Raptor R model, which is scheduled to make its debut next year. If you are looking for a ride that can hold its ground against Ram’s super truck, then Speciality Vehicle Engineering might have the perfect product for you.

The New Jersey-based outfit has announced its all-new tuning program for the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado. As part of its new Yenko Supercharged Silverado Off-Road program, the tuning company will add a 3.0-liter twin-screw supercharger and a giant air-to-water intercooler to the truck’s powertrain.

The powertrain will also get a high-flow intake manifold and a dual-pass heat exchanger, which will bump the 6.2-liter V8 motor’s power up to 710 HP. That is just the California street legal version! SVE also offers a regular 800 HP home wrecker for the regular folks. In addition to the performance upgrade, SVE will also upgrade the Silverado suspension setup. Fox Racing shocks and a 4 inch BDS lift kit are offered as standard, along with heavy-duty traction and rear sway bar assemblies. The company will also modify the bodywork and add flared wheel arches to accommodate Giant 20X10 rims, which will be wrapped in Nitto Ridge grappler rubbers.

Specialty Vehicle Engineering offers a 3-year/36,000-mile limited warranty on its 2021 Yenko Supercharged Silverado off-road pickup and has confirmed that its program complies with emissions norms in all 50 states. SVE also claims that its supercharger does burden the powerplant when the truck is traveling at cruising speeds. This means customers would not have to put up with a compromised fuel economy when they are not on the track.
