Quick Hit: ProCharger’s Supercharger Kits For 2019 GM Half-Tons

The best never rest, and ProCharger is living this mantra with its latest news for the truck and off-road enthusiasts. The company recently shared news about its development of supercharger kits for 2019 Silverados and Sierras. These systems will cover the V8 engine options including the 5.3-liter and 6.2-liter.

The latest crop of GM’s half-tons has been a big hit with the public. We are seeing a fair amount of them roaming around the streets, and with this latest bit of news from ProCharger, they’re about to get a lot more interesting.

Starting with a full redesign, the ProCharger kit comes with the supercharger, intercooler, tubing, and ECU tune for a complete one-stop-shop. Brackets made from CNC-machine billet aluminum provide the mount for the blower, and the air-to-air intercooler mounts in a prime location to provide a constant, fresh charge for clean combustion.

ProCharger's new supercharger system ramps up the horsepower by up to 45 percent for the 2019 Silverado and Sierra. We're interested in reviewing this kit soon!

ProCharger’s testing made some incredible revelations. Running at only eight pounds of boost and on 91 or 93 octane gasoline, the results of this system are astounding. Users can expect between a 45-50-percent boost to horsepower, and have it be reliable thanks to ProCharger’s patented, self-contained oiling of the supercharger. That’s more power that can be put to use when hauling a trailer on the highway, or having fun in the dirt.

We’re interested in getting a kit for ourselves to install here at our facility in SoCal when it becomes ready. Until then, be sure to visit ProCharger’s website to find out more about this and other top-tier supercharger systems for off-road vehicles.
