Best In The Desert Announces UTV Youth Championship Series

Why should grown-ups have all the fun? This was the question Best In The Desert, the largest, highest paying off-road racing series in North America, recently asked its fans. In response, the series has announced the formation of a Youth Championship Series for UTVs in partnership with 4Wheel Parts.

In an official press release, Best In The Desert announced that it plans to offer championships for the 170 stock, 170 modified, 250, 570, and Youth 1000 classes in 2020. Regardless as to which class they prefer, in order for a child to qualify, they must race in all three of the Best In The Desert Youth UTV events. Those who are willing to commit to racing in the 2020 Youth Championship Series will be required to compete in the Tensor Tire Parker 250 on January 10-11th, the US Desert Scrambles from March 20-22nd, and the three-day BlueWater Desert Challenge from October 22-25th.

Operations Manager Donald Jackson had this to say about the series’ decision to provide America’s youth with its own BITD championship series. “Best In The Desert is investing in the future racers of our sport by creating this new Youth UTV Championship Series to help showcase these extremely talented drivers,” Jackson explains. “We are fortunate to have 4Wheel Parts, the leading provider of aftermarket off-road accessories for Trucks, Jeeps, SUVs and 4×4 enthusiasts, sponsor the 4Wheel Parts Youth UTV Championship Series.”

“4 Wheel Parts (4WP) couldn’t be more excited to support the future of off-road racing by being involved in the new 2020 BITD Youth Championship Series. 4WP has built a remarkable history with regards to off-road motorsports,” Joey DiGiovanni, Director of Creative Marketing at 4Wheel Parts explained. “Because of that, we know how important it is to foster the future of the industry and sport and give the youth a chance to not only hone their talents as drivers but also as young professionals. Most importantly, it’s about fun, and nothing is more fun for us than to see these young boys and girls have the times of their lives competing with the Best In The Desert!”

And while the 2020 roster of racers have already been filled, we get the feeling that this youth championship is going to be around for a while, so stay tuned for more and check out the Best In The Desert website for more details.
