SEMA 2017: Wizards’ Detailing Products – Shine On You Crazy Diamond

There’s nothing better than a car that twinkles nicely under the bright city lights, and the folks at Wizards Professional Products couldn’t agree more. This Minnesota-based company has been in the business of making cars shine for nearly three decades, and they don’t plan on backing down anytime soon.

The guys at Wizards had the pleasure of filing us in on what’s new for the company, and what to expect on shelves next year. If you’re a fan of compounds, polishes and waxes, you’ll certainly want to tune-in.

“If you know detailing, then you’ll know dual-action polishers (DAP) are the biggest rage right now,” said Kurt S. of Wizards.

“The 3-inch DAP is our most popular unit available. It uses a 12mm orbiting pad surface to cancel out vibration, and here’s why that’s important. For starters, it keeps the person behind the buffer from creating any additional scratches to the paint’s surface. Secondly, since it has a variable speed between 2,500 and 5,500 opm, it ensures the end-user can vary the speed from job-to-job, like using a wax or a compound, as those require two different speeds.”

Kurt also informed us that the company’s most popular product, Mist-N-Shine, was also on display. “This adds an insane shine to just about any surface you can think of. We even use it on six-figure priced audio equipment – now that’s saying something,” he concluded. The good news is, you don’t have to pay a six-figure price tag for any of Wizards’ products, either – there’s even a $10-and-under section on its website you can check out here.
