Straight from Chevrolet, the ZZ383 engines have a whopping 425HP and 449 lb-ft of torque. That’s impressive out of a small-block. The short block has 4 bolt mains, forged crank, heavy duty rods connected to Hypereutectic aluminum pistons.

The top end is finished off with Fast Burn Heads that have been outfitted with 2.00/1.55 inch valves to make sure this potent pink mouse can breath.

The valves are tickled open by a roller camshaft that has over 0.500 inches of lift and friction reducing aluminum roller tip rocker arms. A final compression ratio of 9.6:1 means this motor still runs on 92 octane fuel and is street friendly.

Complimented with a high rise GM intake, PROFORM carburetor, and HEI ignition, this motor will make any car boil the tires. The PROFORM dress up kit includes the timing chain cover, valve covers and air cleaner assembly.
