Video: Urban Assault 2 – Las Vegas Featuring Blake Wilkey

You may remember, back in 2016 a video was released of a V8 swapped VW bug hooning on the public streets on San Diego. The bug is really more of a race buggy and with a VW bug body, as the only thing it shares with a bug is the shape. That video went viral instantly and now have over 2m views on YouTube, excluding all the views received from other social platforms. The driver behind it all, Blake Wilkey, ultimately ended up facing 45 days in jail for all the reckless driving he performed.

Fast forward two more years and Blake Wilkey is a pretty popular name in the off-road hooning community. One might think he was done after that first video, but now he’s back for more. This time around the video takes place in Las Vegas, outside the strip. It appears as though the filming crew and Wilkey had proper permits, and also had the roads they were using blocked off. The vehicle of choice is roughly similar to the first video. It’s a rear engine, V8 powered off-road racing buggy with tons of suspension travel. With those big sticky tires, lots of power, and rear end weight bias, this buggy loves doing wheelies.

The video is much professional than the first video, and it starts off with some graffiti artwork being sprayed painted on a wall. Eventually, toward the end of the video, the artwork being spray painted on the wall is revealed to actually be the new paint job on the vehicle. The video is full of donuts, wheels, huge jumps, and more. Check it out!
