Bilstein Sponsors Ryan Beat’s 2018 Racing Efforts

Ryan Beat is one of the best in the racing business. Less than 30 years old, and already a winner in multiple events, he has made a name for himself and his “51”-emblazoned short-course race truck. And did we mention he owns his own team?

Beat began his racing career in motorcycles, as all off-road racers do. But with age comes the cage, as they say, and after achieving 12 amateur championships in five years (as well as notable races in Supercross and motocross), he made his way to UTVs. Not long after, he was ready for the big leagues – trucks – and stepped into the Pro-Lite class.

For Beat's truck, Bilstein supplied M 9200 shock absorbers. The same technology in these shocks is also found in Bilstein's direct-fit B8 8112 and B8 8100 shocks for the Toyota Tacoma.

In LOORRS, Beat is one of the top dogs. He has over 20 podium finishes to his name, and won at the Wild West Motorsports Park in Reno, Nevada in late 2012. One of his most recent wins was at the 48th Annual Pro Light World Championship in Crandon, Wisconsin in late 2017.

Now, with 2018 in full swing, Beat is back, and so are his sponsors, like Bilstein. “I am so pumped to have Bilstein on my team,” Beat said. “It’s a dream come true and allows us greater stability, and to grow in the future. I have been focused on developing longstanding relationships, and Bilstein is like family to me. I look forward to great success on the track and the many cool projects in the works. We both share common goals.”

We’re looking forward to seeing what Beat and Bilstein can bring to the table in 2018. The first event will be the 4 Wheel Parts Duel in the Desert in Chandler, Arizona, on April 14.
