Bilstein Expands Sponsorship To LOORRS Pro 2 and Pro 4 Classes

The 2016 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series [2] (LOORRS) may be in the rearview mirror, but the 2017 season is about to heat up. For 2017 Bilstein [3] is expanding into the highly competitive Pro 2 and Pro 4 classes.

“Involvement in LOORRS has given us the opportunity to showcase Bilstein’s quality, design, ruggedness, performance, and superior tuning capabilities,” said Regis Finn, Marketing Manager for Bilstein. “Our involvement in off-road racing dates back to the early 1970’s and the name Bilstein has been synonymous with off-road championships for more than 45 years.”

Bilstein had great success last year with both Jerett Brooks and Daren Hardesty Jr. taking home the championship in their respective class.

For the 2017 racing season, all sponsored racers will be running Bilstein M 9200 coilovers and M 9200 bypass shock absorbers with the exception of the Mod Kart class. The 2017 Bilstein race team includes:

How many championships will Bilstein take home this year? The season kicks off April 22-23 in Chandler, Arizona.

“Amazing results,” said Alex Striler, Director of Marketing for Team Lucas. “Bilstein shocked the off-road industry last year when they took home not just one, but two championships in only their second season of short course racing!”
